  • You may not use our services for illegal, unethical, or misleading activities.
  • You may not use automated bots or scripts to access or manipulate the platform.

Violating these terms may result in immediate termination of your account.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

User Responsibility

  • By using PolyPages, you affirm that the content you upload is either owned by you or that you have received explicit permission from the copyright holder to translate it.
  • You retain ownership of your original content and its translated versions. However, you acknowledge that translations are only accessible through the platform and cannot be downloaded.

Platform Ownership

  • PolyPages and its underlying technology, algorithms, and services remain the exclusive property of the company.
  • Any improvements, optimizations, or derivative works related to the platform remain the intellectual property of PolyPages.

5. Privacy and Data Security

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your data.

Uploaded Files

  • Files uploaded for translation are not stored permanently and are deleted after a set period.
  • We do not share uploaded files with third parties.

Personal Data

  • We collect and process personal data in compliance with GDPR (Europe), CCPA (California), and PIPEDA (Canada).
  • You have the right to request the deletion of your data at any time.

13. Ownership and Use of Translated Content

User Ownership of Uploaded Content

By using our services, you affirm and warrant that:

  • The content you upload belongs to you or you have explicit permission from the copyright holder to translate it.
  • You retain ownership of your original and translated versions, but cannot download the translations.

Prohibited Commercial Use

  • You may NOT sell, distribute, or commercialize translations generated on PolyPages.
  • Unauthorized commercial use includes:
    • Selling translated e-books.
    • TermsPage.ownership.prohibitedUse.republishing
    • Using the service for large-scale, automated translation without prior agreement.

Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify and hold PolyPages harmless from any legal claims or copyright disputes resulting from your use of our service.

Right to Terminate Service

  • If we detect unauthorized commercial use, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately.

Responsibility for Compliance

  • You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of PolyPages complies with applicable copyright and data protection laws.

14. PolyWeb Browser Extension Terms

PolyWeb is an official browser extension provided by Polypage.ai and is governed by these Terms and Conditions.

By installing or using PolyWeb, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable Polypage service policies.

  • PolyWeb provides webpage translation functionality for informational purposes only. Translations are provided “as is” and may not be fully accurate.
  • You are solely responsible for your use of translated content and any reliance on translation results.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue PolyWeb features at any time without prior notice.
  • Use of PolyWeb is subject to your Polypage account status and applicable subscription plan.
